ATHENS, AL (WAFF) - Johnson Elementary School in Athens was closed Tuesday. Staff arrived at the school Tuesday morning to find that a pipe had frozen and burst.

School officials said there was about six inches of water inside the school.

Limestone County Schools are on a two-hour delay for Wednesday. School officials anticipate Johnson Elementary to be open at that time.
