Brace yourselves: Temperatures in the ArkLaTex dipped into the 20s overnight Friday, but another cold front is on the way and it's going to bring the temperatures down even further.
Winds will be from the south 15-20 mph Saturday with increasing clouds and highs soaring into the 50s to near 60. Another cold front brings patchy rain overnight with possible winter mix in the I-30 area. Sunday's high will be only either side of 40.
The entire area will be affected by frigid Arctic air Mon-Wed with possible record-cold temps. Highs will be in the 30s with lows in the teens and 20s Monday and Tuesday and in the single digits and mid-teens Wednesday.
It should be dry, but take time to prepare for very cold conditions.
