Arrest made in Huntsville home invasion

HUNTSVILLE, AL (WAFF) -

Police arrested a man in connection with a home invasion robbery that happened Thursday morning in Huntsville.

Investigators said a man forced his way into the home of a 97-year-old man on the 3600 block of Gay Street around 6:30 a.m. Thursday. The victim told police the man pushed his way into the residence and took his wallet then left the scene in an unknown vehicle.

Police arrested Gregory Alonzo Kennemore, 44, of Huntsville, and charged him with one count of third-degree robbery. Kennemore is currently in the Madison County Jail pending bond.
