ANDERSON, SC (FOX Carolina) -

Anderson County deputies are investigating a shooting that happened outside a night club on West Market Street.

Lt. Sheila Cole, with the Anderson County Sheriff's Office, said that a man was shot in the neck at about 3:30 a.m. Sunday. She said it happened in the parking lot outside of Club 1421.

Cole said that Tanaze Richey, 23, of Belton, was shot in the neck following a physical altercation in the club's parking lot.  Richey was transported to AnMed, where he received surgery Sunday morning. She said he is currently in the intensive care.

In connection with the incident, Cole said Kenneth Leshun Brownlee, 26, was arrested charged with assault by a mob and Demetrius Rashad Brownlee, 21, was charged with assault by a mob and attempted murder.

The Anderson men are brothers, according to Cole. The Brownlees are being held at the Anderson County Detention Center.
