Scottsboro police seek woman who they say used stolen cards

SCOTTSBORO, AL (WAFF) -

Scottsboro Police need your help in finding a woman who used debit cards from a wallet she found in a bathroom.

Lieutenant Scott Matthews with the Scottsboro Police Department identified Amanda Jo Scott Wilks as the suspect. She has warrants out for theft, forgery, and fraudulent use of a credit card.

Officers said she took a wallet that was accidentally left in the restroom of a McDonald's on Dec. 11. Police said she used the cards inside that wallet to make two separate purchases at Walmart totaling $280.

Investigators said Wilks was driving a black or dark green Jeep Cherokee at Walmart and was with a man and two children at McDonald's.
