LAWRENCE COUNTY, AL (WAFF) -

Deputies arrested a man for vandalizing a hunting club in the Speake area. Investigators said he caused the damage because he was angry at the club for leasing the hunting property.

According to authorities, David Dewayne White, 46, of Danville, drove his vehicle over the hunting club damaging the shooting houses and trees.

Investigators said they were able to link White to the vandalism with paint transfers from his vehicle found at the scene.

White was charged with first-degree criminal mischief, third-degree criminal trespassing and tampering with physical evidence. He was taken to the Lawrence County Jail where he was released after posting a $7,000 bond.
