Investigators work to ID body found in burning vehicle

Good Tuesday evening. Here's a look at a few of the stories we're working on for WAFF 48 News at 10.

We're continuing to follow a murder investigation in DeKalb County that we first told you about earlier this evening. Authorities are working to identify a body found today in a burning vehicle in Geraldine. We'll have the very latest on the investigation at 10.

We'll also have more of our exclusive interview with a man accused of holding a child hostage and sexually abusing him for 8 months. WAFF 48's Sarah Navoy was in the courtroom and was able to grab an interview with the man accused of this heinous crime, Carl Herold as he was leaving the courtroom.

And there could be a new shopping center coming to Jones Valley in Huntsville. The developer, Raymond Jones, Jr., is requesting that the city re-zone the north side of Carl T. Jones Drive at Ledges Drive for economic development. He wants to build a higher end shopping center on 126 acres of land there.

We hope you'll join us for these stories and more on WAFF 48 News at 10.
