NASHVILLE, TN (WSMV) -

A convenience store featured last month in a Channel 4 News report about selling beer to underage teenagers has been closed on Monday by police after being declared a public nuisance.

The Stop N Shop on White Bridge Road was investigated for selling beer to Middle Tennessee high school students after a tip from a Father Ryan High School parent.

Police sent in undercover teenagers to buy beer at the market.

Investigators last month said they caught the clerk, 28-year-old Amen Naguib, selling to underage customers multiple times that night and the owner, Wael Timothawes, once.

Surveillance video showed the clerk denying the teen at first, but the teen then knows what to say: "Not even for $40?"

"This business will be padlocked. It will be shut. They won't be selling anything until the court gives them the approval to open back up again," said district attorney Torry Johnson.
