YARNELL, AZ (CBS5) -

There is new video of the fallen 19 Prescott Granite Mountain Hotshot firefighters less than an hour before they died fighting the Yarnell Hill Fire.

It was left behind by one of the firefighters as they battled the deadly Yarnell Hill Fire on June 30.

The video shows nine of the hotshots watching the fire from the safety of a burned-out hillside.

The clips were taken at 4 p.m., just before the decision to go down into the canyon and less than one hour before they all perished.

It was discovered by hotshot Chris MacKenzie's dad while going through his son's burned belongings.

The video shows crew chief Eric Marsh talking over the radio to captain Jesse Steed.

"I was just saying, I knew this was coming when I called you and asked what your comfort level was. I could just feel it, you know," Marsh said in the video.

The fire was moving quickly and they seemed comfortable in harm's way, but it is still unclear what prompted the decision to move away from the safe zone in their final moments.

The State Department of Forestry may soon release more photos and videos from that fateful day.
