DECATUR, AL (WAFF) -

A Decatur man was indicted by a grand jury on charges of rape, sodomy, and enticing a child for immoral purposes.

The indictment follows an investigation that began in April when police received a report of a young girl being a victim of rape.

The results of that investigation were presented to a Morgan County grand jury Nov. 21. A warrant was issued for Brandon Leshun Baker following the indictment.

Baker was in the Morgan County Jail on unrelated charges when the warrant was issued. He was transferred to the Decatur City Jail and booked on charges of second-degree rape, second-degree sodomy and enticing a child.

He was then transferred back to the county jail. Bond was set at $20,000.
