AL high court rejects appeal of convicted Jackson Co. killer

JACKSON COUNTY, AL (WAFF) -

The Alabama Supreme Court will not hear the appeal of a convicted killer from Jackson County.

The high court rejected James Kendall Stewart's request Friday morning.

Stewart was convicted of murder for the 2009 death of Gary Faulk. Stewart beat Faulk to death and left his body on County Road 46 near Mud Creek.

He was sentenced to life in prison in 2010.
