Today, the Athens City Schools Superintendent will announce plans to upgrade and improve the district's schools.
A $10,000 reward is being offered for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the person responsible for the death of a Decatur man.
George Thomas Bolden, 49, died on April 7 around 7:15 p.m. on I-65 in Limestone County.
Bolden was driving a 1995 Jeep Grand Cherokee when he was rear ended by another vehicle traveling north. Bolden's vehicle ran off the roadway, and overturned multiple times before hitting a tree.
State Troopers are investigating the crash. Anyone with information should contact the Decatur post at 256-353-0631 or the Limestone County District Attorney's Office at 256-233-6416.
Law enforcement officers or their relatives are not eligible for the reward.
