Today, the Athens City Schools Superintendent will announce plans to upgrade and improve the district's schools.
(WMC-TV) – Monday is expected to be the busiest day of the year for Memphis-based FedEx. In fact, it could be the busiest Cyber Monday in the company's history.
FedEx says all of those gifts that were ordered online Thanksgiving week and weekend will most likely ship out on Monday.
The company expects they will move 22 million shipments across the world Monday.
That growth also extends to the rest of the week, because this year's Cyber Monday is expected to be even bigger than Black Friday.
Patrick Fitzgerald, FedEx Senior Vice President, said, "The entire week the December 1st though 7th we expect to have 85 million packages and that would be a 13 percent increase over last year."
A lot of this shopping action is being credited to companies offering big incentives for shopping online.
FedEx also says their new flat rate shipping option is also drawing big business this holiday season.
