Former Henrico music minister accused of taking indecent liberties with minor

Posted: Updated:

A former Henrico music minister is accused of taking indecent liberties with a church youth member.

Bryan Davis was music minister at Meadowood Church of God in Henrico.

According to court documents, the victim was 15-years-old at the time of the first incident.

We stopped by the home of church pastor Donald Jones to get his reaction.

"I appreciate that," said Jones. "But I honestly can't make any comment."

Prosecutors say Davis has pleaded guilty to two counts of contributing to the delinquency of a minor. He faces an additional 4 counts of indecent liberties by a custodian. According to court documents, the charges date back to September 1, 2011 when the alleged victim was 15-years-old.

We gave Davis a call, but he had no comment.  We got our hands on photos filed as evidence in court. The photos included designer purses, shoes, and jewelry. They also included Bryan's U.S. Army National Guard ring. According to his Facebook page, Davis is now in Roanoke where he has also worked as a church worship leader.

Davis was granted a $60,000 bond. He is due in court again on January 29th .
