(WMC-TV) - Traffic on Interstate Highway 240 and the Interstate Highway 55 interchange is clear after a Saturday night crash which blocked traffic for more than four hours.

An Action News 5 producer sent us exclusive phone video of what the huge traffic delay looked like. Apparently, he was stuck in it for two hours.

Memphis police said they got a call regarding the crash around 10: 45 p.m. Saturday. The crash involved an 18-wheeler and another vehicle.

A police report said four people were in one of the vehicles. Two of the victims were in critical condition. Among the critically injured was a 9-year-old boy.

According to officials, the driver of the 18-wheeler said she was unable to brake quickly enough and smashed into the car after it got in front of her and jammed on its brakes.

Both sides of the interstate were blocked for several hours.

Officials confirmed the area was reopened around 2:45 a.m. Sunday.

Three ambulances transported an unknown number of people to The MED.

Police stated a citation was issued to the driver of the 18-wheeler. Charges are still pending for the driver of the car.
