MONTGOMERY, AL (WSFA) -

Parents of Lee High School students have learned a little bit more about threats found written in one of the school's bathrooms.

Wednesday night, parents met with school officials and members of the police department to get more information on the investigation and to find out what precautions are being taken to keep students safe.

There were about 100 parents at the meeting. It's still an active investigation and school officials and police didn't reveal many details.

A Lee High School student shared a picture he said he took of one of the threats.

"On Nov. 18, I'm going to destroy all of my enemies that attend this school. If you're not one of my enemies consider yourself luck. Not a joke," the threat said.

Montgomery Police Commander of School Enforcement C. Oliver says this is one of three threats found on the wall of the boy's restroom in the school's math building Nov. 8.

Police and school security say bomb sniffing dogs have been brought in to search the school. More officers will also be on campus and in the area. School security say there are three metal detectors used for weapons checks, but there are more than 90 doors at the high school.

Parents say that's unacceptable.

"If you've got to, put a metal detector at every entrance and have kids come in some sort of alphabetical order, then you do it. Don't tell me we don't have the funding. Find it," one parent said.

Police couldn't tell us how far along they were in the investigation.

Officials with the school system say they have plans to prosecute the person who is responsible.
