3 Arrested for OVI at Oregon Checkpoint

OREGON, OH (Toledo News Now) -

The Oregon Police Division conducted a Sobriety Check Point on Saturday night, arresting three drivers for Operating a Vehicle Under the Influence.

Oregon officers and the Lucas County OVI Task force were stationed at the 2800 block of State Route 2, from 10 p.m. to 2:30 a.m.

During the time frame, 983 vehicles passed through the checkpoint. In total, 40 drivers were diverted for inspection, and among them, three drivers were arrest for OVI, in addition to four drivers cited for either a suspended license or not having a valid license.

One driver was cited for a Child Restraint Violation. Another driver was issued a summons for outstanding warrants.
