Shot fired into home early Sunday morning

HUNTSVILLE, AL (WAFF) -

Huntsville police responded to an early morning shots fired call at 12:13 a.m. on Sunday.

Police said that when officers arrived on the 2400 block of Medaris Road, the victim told them that she was in bed when she heard several gunshots. Officers said they discovered one of the rounds had gone through the victim's bedroom window and lodged into the interior wall.

Authorities said the victim could not identify any suspects, and no one has been arrested yet. No injuries were reported.
