WOOD COUNTY, OH (Toledo News Now) -

The Ohio State Highway Patrol says a 6-week-old boy, whose twin sister died in a tragic Wood County accident earlier this week, has died from injuries sustained in the crash.

The crash happened Tuesday morning on Fostoria Road, just south of State Route 163 at the railroad crossing.

Troopers say 38-year-old Lori Massingill, of Ida, Michigan, was speeding, when she hit the crossing and went airborne, flipping her vehicle several times.

The twin infants were in the back seat.

Massingill's daughter was pronounced dead at Mercy Saint Vincent's Hospital. Her son was flown to the University of Michigan Medical Center, where he died on Thursday.

Massingill is in fair condition.

The crash is still under investigation.
