HARTSELLE, AL (WAFF) -

Eight people were arrested following a raid on a house in Hartselle, Thursday night.

Agents from the Morgan County Drug Task Force carried out the bust at a house on Main Street West. Along with spice and meth, they found an extensive amount of pseudoephedrine, a shotgun, and two other guns as well as a military training weapon.

Agents also found a three-year-old child inside the house. Agents said meth, marijuana, and drug paraphernalia were in close proximity to where the child was sleeping at the time the residence was searched.

Authorities charged Tanner Stewart Phillips, 19, Gearad Brayden Seals, 19, Anthony James Brown, 29, Nicholas Kyle Walls, 18, and Madison Widner, 19, with loitering in a drug house. Their bond was set at $300.

Kaysi McCulloch, 19, was charged with loitering in a drug house and possession of marijuana. Her bond was set at $600.

Corey Dewayne Thomson, 28, was charged with second-degree unlawful possession of a controlled substance and drug paraphernalia, and drug endangerment of a child. His bond was set at $5,600.

Kevin William Wallace, 30, was arrested and charged with seven counts of unlawful possession of a controlled substance, possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia. Bond for Wallace is set at $18,100.

Sheriff Ana Franklin said that new meth laws are changing the way people try to access the drug.

"Back before this law happened, they would go down and buy it themselves, and you could tell how much one person was buying and that was a very good indication that they were involved in methamphetamine. Now, because of the limits, they either have to get it on the black market or get other people to get it for them," Franklin said.

All eight suspects were arrested and transported to the Morgan County Jail. The ATF aided in the investigation.
