FLORENCE, AL (WAFF) -

A University of North Alabama student faces criminal charges Wednesday afternoon.

Campus police arrested Zach Riley earlier in the week.

According to a memo that went out to students, Riley was accused of sending threatening text messages to a professor. Police wouldn't comment on exactly what the messages said.

Riley is charged with harassment and making a terrorist threat.
