Good Tuesday evening. Here's a look at just a few of the stories we're hard at work on here in the WAFF 48 Newsroom.
We're continuing to follow every developments in the first day of the murder trial for Zakawanda Moss. He's one of two men charged in the 2012 shooting spree in Alabama and Tennessee that left 6 people dead. WAFF 48's Margo Gray was in the courtroom today with graphic and emotional testimony being presented. Moss is one of two men charged in the mass killings in two counties. This is riveting testimony you'll want to see and hear.
We're also continuing to follow a deadly shooting we first told you about in Madison County last night. One man is dead and his accused killer is behind bars. WAFF 48's Shumuriel Ratliff spoke with a person who knows the accused killer, Robert Walker, very well. He talked to her about his surprise to learn that Walker is charged with killing Robert Clark at a home on Hurricane Creek Road in Gurley Monday night.
And as unbelievable as it might sound, the typhoon that killed thousands of people in the Philippines is bringing out a number of scammers looking to take your money, profiting from this tragedy. We'll hear more on how to determine if the "charities" you're asked to donate to are legitimate.
We hope you'll join us for these stories and more at 10.
