HUNTSVILLE, AL (WAFF) -

The Downtown Rescue Mission will provide Thanksgiving dinner boxes to those in need once again this year.

The Mission will prepare boxes filled with items such as a frozen turkey, stuffing, green beans, yams, fruit cocktail, and rolls. The Mission expects to give out 850 of these turkey boxes this year.

Sign-ups for these boxes will be on Nov. 11 and Nov. 12 from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. and 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. The limit is one box per household, and individuals who wish to sign up must bring photo identification and their social security card.

The turkey boxes will be distributed on Nov. 25 and Nov. 26 after a special service in the chapel.
