LOUISVILLE, KY (WAVE) – A mother was arrested for drunk driving with her 14-year-old daughter in the car.

Anne Vanderhaar, 41, of Louisville, was pulled over in the 3500 block of Bardstown Road near the Taco Bell in Buechel on Monday around 6 p.m.

According to a police report, her daughter said she had to grab the wheel several times to avoid a collision while her mother was driving.

Vanderhaar told police she drank two beers at 1 p.m. that day. The arresting officer reported she had glassy eyes and smelled of alcohol.

Her BAC was .116, according to police. She was arrested and charged with DUI and endangering the welfare of a minor.

She also had an outstanding warrant at the time of her arrest for unknown charges.
