Good Thursday evening and trick or treat!
We're continuing to follow what's been described as a series of fights that broke out at Huntsville's Grissom High School. WAFF's Shumuriel Ratliff spoke to one Grissom student who found herself caught up in the violence. That student and her mother describe what happened, and why the student says she's afraid to go back to school.
A stormy Halloween night tonight. A number of activities were moved indoors. Should city leaders be criticized for moving activities indoors, even moving trick-or-treating days altogether? We've had a number of complaints here to our newsroom. WAFF 48's Charles Molineaux spoke with one Valley mayor to get his thoughts on what city leaders should and shouldn't do when it comes to making decisions like this.
And in a WAFF 48 News Special Investigation, it's your money being spent by the political leaders you elected into office. Why are they spending so much money? WAFF 48's Sarah Navoy takes a look at Alabama's Congressman to investigate a pretty interesting disparity between the amount of taxpayer dollars the 7 members of our Alabama Congressional Delegation are spending. This one's definitely an eye-opener.
Be sure and join us for these stories and more tonight at 10.
