Alice Cooper rocks Halloween performance in Montgomery

PRATTVILLE, AL (WSFA) -

Alice Cooper -- the"The Godfather of Shock Rock" -- brought his Raise the Dead tour to the Montgomery Performing Arts Centre Halloween Night.

Coopers draws inspiration from horror movies to design a performance to shock and he didn't disappoint. One of the world's most beloved heavy metal entertainers, Cooper is credited with helping to shape the look and sound of heavy metal.

Before he took the stage Thursday night, Cooper got in some time on the golf course. He took in a game at the Robert Trent Jones Golf Trail's Capitol Hill course in Prattville.

He was joined by one of his band members, Ryan Roxie, and several friends.

Cooper is an American rocker whose career has spanned six decades with shows that have featured guillotines, electric chairs, fake blood and boa constrictors.
