With bad weather threatening to wash out trick-or-treating, many parents are wanting to know where to go for alternative indoor festivities. Find out what's going on in your county below!

In Lauderdale County:

  • Central Volunteer Fire Department in Florence - candy for kids.
  • Glenwood Nursing Home - residents will hand out candy in the lobby from 2:30 p.m. to 4 p.m.
  • First Baptist Rogersville - free Fall Festival in their Family Life Center from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.
  • Publix in Florence - in-store trick-or-treat - 4 p.m. to 7 p.m.
  • Florence, Killen, and Rogersville city officials said trick-or-treating is still scheduled for Halloween.
  • In Florence, Regency Square Mall will be holding "Mall-O-Ween" on Thursday from 5 - 7 p.m. for ages 0 - 12

In Colbert County:

  • Leighton Baptist Church - trunk-or-treat with plans to move inside in case of weather
  • First Baptist Church of Littleville - Fall Festival - 6:30 p.m.
  • Tuscumbia, Muscle Shoals, and Littleville city officials said trick-or-treating will go on as scheduled on Halloween.

In Madison County:

  • Main Library in Huntsville - free, family-friendly events throughout Thursday - includes two rounds of indoor trick-or-treating and two puppet shows
  • Parkway Place and Madison Square Malls – candy and crafts throughout many stores – indoor trick-or-treating – 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. or until candy runs out
  • Huntsville Police Department – trick-or-treating at a haunted house-version of the North Precinct (5 p.m. to 8 p.m.) and at the South Precinct (5 p.m. to 7 p.m.), and a carnival at the West Precinct (5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.)
  • Downtown Rescue Mission – trunk or treat – 5:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.
  • ChristWay Church in Huntsville - trunk or treat - 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. - plans to move indoors if it rains
  • Cornerstone Word of Life Church - event postponed until Nov. 1
  • KidVenture in Madison - indoor Halloween Party, $10 per child, $20 per family, free for members - 5 p.m. to 7 p.m.
  • Due to the expected weather conditions, Halloween on Main will be moved to Dublin Park. The area for Trick or Treating and Games and Activities will be set up in the gymnasium and the Haunted House will be set up in the meeting rooms. The event will be 5:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m..
  • Friendship Baptist Church will host a Fall Festival Wednesday from 6 to 8 p.m.
  • Hillwood Baptist Church is holding their Fall Festival Thursday from 6-8 p.m. in the gym.
  • Home Depot on South Memorial Parkway in Huntsville will be handing out candy from 2-7 p.m.
  • First Baptist Church of Meridianville announced that in case of rain, their trunk-or-treat festivities will be moved inside. Event runs 6:30 to 8:30 p.m.
  • Indian Creek P.B. Church's Fall Festival as scheduled, 6-8 p.m.
  • Wears Chapel Baptist Church on Ryland Pike will have games, a cake walk, food and more between 6 p.m. and 7:30 p.m.
  • Good Shepherd UMC in Madison is hosting indoor trick-or-treating and "ice-scream" on the upper level of the building from 6-8 p.m.
In Morgan County:
  • Crosspoint Community Church in Decatur - Heroes Unmasked Fall Fest - 6 p.m. to 9 p.m.
  • Forest Hill Baptist Church in Somerville - Trunk-a-treat has been moved indoors. Food, cakewalk and cotton candy still on tap! 5-8 p.m.
In Limestone County:
  • Athens-Limestone County Public Library - stop by in costume and get a treat
  • Publix in Athens - in-store trick-or-treat - 4 p.m. to 7 p.m.
  • City officials said Athens will observe Halloween on Halloween
  • The Spirit of Athens said they will not be sponsoring trick-or-treating on the Square this year and are working with merchants for a Halloween-themed event in 2014.
In Marshall County:
  • Gilliam Springs Baptist Church in Arab - Community Fall Festival - Oct. 30 at 5:30 p.m.
  • SomeWhere on the Lake in Guntersville - Drive Thru Trunk or Treat - 4:30 p.m. to 8 p.m.
  • Guntersville First United Methodist Church Fall Festival is from 5:30-7:30pm, on October 31.
  • Pleasant Valley Baptist's festival, hay ride and 'truck-r-treat' begins at 6 p.m. Oct. 30.
  • Arab mayor Bob Joslin is encouraging families in the Arab and Brindlee Mountain areas to take kids trick-or-treating Oct. 30 rather than Thursday due to forecasted storms.
  • Trunk-or-treat events at Union Grove Masonic Lodge (5:30-6:30pm) and Four-C Volunteer Fire Department (6-9p.m.) are on as scheduled.

In Franklin County:

  • Russellville city officials said trick-or-treating will go on as scheduled on Halloween.
In addition, The Rock Family Worship Center advises its congregations in Huntsville, Madison, Scottsboro and Fayetteville TN that the Harvest Fest at Lyons Family Farms has been canceled.
