MONTGOMERY, AL (WSFA) -

Montgomery police have made six arrests in the Aug. 11 fatal shooting of 19-year-old Dontavious McCall. The shooting was Montgomery's 35th homicide of 2013.

Rickel Osborne, 18, Dashun Williams, 21, and Caesar Orum, 18, all of Montgomery have each been charged with capital murder. Orum has also been charged with conspiracy to commit murder.

Gabriel Timmons, 17, Johann Zeigler, 18, and Milon Moss, 17, all of Montgomery have each been charged with conspiracy to commit murder.

Police say their investigation revealed the shooting stemmed from an ongoing dispute between the victim and the suspect.

According to an affidavit, the defendants planned to shoot members of a rival gang known as the Crescent Road Heroz. The group then went to the area of Crescent Road and April Street and started shooting at rival gang members, according to the affidavit.

Officers responded to the 3400 block of Crescent Road around 10:30 p.m. Aug. 11 and discovered McCall suffering from a gunshot wound.

He was pronounced dead at Baptist Medical Center.
