Attorney in Lincoln Co. murder case seeks change of venue

Posted: Updated:
LINCOLN COUNTY, AL (WAFF) -

Henry Burrell and Zakawanda Moss are charged with murder for the deaths of Amber McCaulley, four others, and an unborn child.

Both men have pleaded not guilty to the charges. Moss' trial is set to start November 6 in Lincoln County. His attorney is seeking a change of venue because of the media coverage. The judge is considering it, but says the only viable option would be to bus-in jurors.

Meanwhile, Burrell has already been appointed an attorney earlier this month due to his request of a speedy trial, and it's set to begin February 6.
