Good Friday evening and TGIF!
It's cold out there. Be careful. And WAFF 48's Charles Molineaux will have the story of one local man who's helping to provide food and warmth to our homeless veterans. By the way, this isn't just a local problem, it's very much a state-wide problem. The Alabama Department of Veterans Affairs says in 2012, there were about 800 homeless veterans in the state on any given night.
We're also continuing to dig deeper into a mold problem found in the walls of the Child development Center at Redstone Arsenal. We're told the three types of mold found don't present any sort of health threat to the children staying there. But WAFF 48's Shumuriel Ratliff will have more from the Fox Army Health Center on the clean-up efforts.
We also have an update on this week's Huntsville Area Crime Stoppers Crime of the Week. Crime solved. Thanks to your tips, 4 students at Lee High School have been identified and interviewed by Huntsville Police investigators. We'll have the details All New at 10.
We hope you'll join us for these stories and a busy night of scores and highlights from week 9 of Friday Night Fever.
