11th ranked Auburn continues preparations for Florida Atlantic

No. 11 Auburn worked for 90 minutes in shorts at the Auburn Athletics Complex practice fields on Thursday as preparation began to wind down for Saturday's non-conference finale vs. Florida Atlantic.

The Tigers are 3-0 in games decided by seven points or less, 4-0 in games decided by eight points or less, with come-from-behind wins vs. Washington State, Mississippi State and then No. 7 Texas A&M.

"Just being real honest with them that we're not changing anything that got us to where we are, and keep doing exactly what we've been doing with the same attitude and the same approach," said Auburn head coach Gus Malzahn about the Tigers dealing with higher expectations. "That's really about it."

Auburn (6-1, 3-1 SEC) and Florida Atlantic (2-5, 1-4 C-USA) will kickoff at 6:30 p.m. Central on Saturday in Jordan-Hare Stadium, and it will be televised by FSN. The 1983 SEC Champion Auburn Tigers will be honored during pregame festivities, and members of the team will visit with fans in the Verizon Wireless Autograph Tent next to Plainsman Park two hours before the game.
