MADISON COUNTY, AL (WAFF) - Cheeburger Cheeburger in Huntsville scored an 84 with the Madison County Health Department. The inspector reported several small infractions, and one critical violation.
Cheeburger Cheeburger lost points because sliced cheeses, horseradish, thousand island dressing and ranch dressing were held between 52 and 64 degrees in a cooler, all above the 41 degree maximum temperature required to prevent bacterial growth in cold holding foods.
Cold foods to warm and hot foods too cold were reported at the Sprint Mart in Tuscumbia, which scored an 82. A Colbert County health inspector reported they also needed to clean the fountain drink nozzles.
It takes an 85 or higher to get off of the health department's reinspection schedule. A Taqueria Los Tres Riales food truck in Huntsville achieved that during their second reinspection that stemmed from score of 78 in June. During their first reinspection, they scored an 83, and they rose to an 86 during their most recent reinspection.
Swap John's Country Store improved by 11 points, scoring a 91 with the Franklin County Health Department during their reinspection.
The Viet Huong Vietnamese Restaurant in Huntsville improved by 13 points, scoring a 93 during their reinspection.
