An emotional farewell to a decorated vet and firefighter

Good Wednesday evening and Happy Hump Day.

We're continuing to follow the death of a volunteer firefighter and decorated war veteran. 28-year old Jantzen Frazier was laid to rest in Hartselle today, with first responders and military veterans from all across the Valley and the country in attendance. Frazier, a firefighter with the Oden Ridge Volunteer Fire department in Morgan County was killed when his truck flipped as he headed to fight a neighbor's house fire. WAFF 48's Charles Molineaux will have more on the emotional farewell to a true hero.

The recent suicide of a Sparkman High School student has led us to check into the mental health options available to area teenagers. A day after Christian Adamek's father addressed the media, stating that mental health options are limited due to lack of resources and poor insurance coverage, we investigated to see where the families of troubled teens can turn. WAFF 48's Shumuriel Ratliff spoke with a local mental health expert to find what options are available for families before it's too late.

And 4 young people are in a whole lot of trouble tonight for a puzzling crime. They were caught on surveillance video stealing from a restaurant in the food court of a Valley shopping mall. But the business was closed at the time with no money in the cash register. I'll have the details and the video in our weekly Huntsville Area Crime Stoppers report.

We hope you'll join us for these stories and more tonight on WAFF 48 News at 10.
