To either keep or fire Carol Wicks as Director of Animal Services will be a decision made by the city council. If it comes to that, it would be put on a Decatur City Council meeting agenda for further review. So far, it is not on the agenda for their next meeting on Sep 2. If the issue comes before the city council, that's when we hope to find out why Mayor Kyle decided to put Wicks on paid administrative leave. He will not comment on it, saying he cannot talk about a pending personnel issue. MOBILE, AL (WSFA) -

Four family members of Alabama's Secretary of Law Enforcement are now indicted on charges related to BP oil spill claims fraud.

Spencer Collier serves as Alabama's Law Enforcement Secretary and as Homeland Security Director for Alabama.

Indicted are the secretary's son, Christopher Collier; his brother, Harvey Collier; his ex-sister-in-law, Tonya Collier; and his nephew, Wayne Collier. No photo was immediately available of Wayne Collier.

Secretary Collier was not named in the indictment.

Prosecutors say all four family members made fraudulent claims of lost wages in relation to the 2010 BP oil spill that totaled more than $1,000. Each is also accused of mail fraud.

All four have pleaded not guilty.
