HUNTSVILLE, AL (WAFF) -

Huntsville city leaders want more comments from the public regarding the proposed urban agriculture ordinance.

Councilman Bill Kling held a town hall meeting Monday evening at the Huntsville Public Library. The proposed ordinance would let Huntsville residents keep up to three chickens if their coop is at least twelve square feet and kept ten feet from a property line.

The ordinance could go before the council in several weeks.
