Man fatally shot at Montgomery gas station - WAFF-TV: News, Weather and Sports for Huntsville, AL

Fatal gas station shooting is Montgomery's 41st homicide of 2013

MONTGOMERY, AL (WSFA) -

Montgomery police are investigating the city's 41st homicide of 2013.

Police say a man was shot and killed at a south Montgomery gas station Monday afternoon around 1:45 p.m.

It happened at the Liberty gas station on West Edgemont Avenue. Police say the victim was shot in the parking lot and walked inside the store to ask for help. The unidentified man died in the store.

Police say their initial investigation indicates the shooting stemmed from an argument.

No arrests have been made. Police haven't released details on the victim or a possible suspect.

Police are asking anyone with information on this shooting to call Crime Stoppers at 215-STOP, Secret Witness at 262-400 or Montgomery police at 625-2831.
