ATHENS, AL (WAFF) -

Athens State University junior and senior art majors will have their original works of art on exhibit at Savory Jacks' Café in Pulaski, Tennessee, through Oct. 30.

Jack White, Pulaski native and chef at the café, invited these young artists to feature their work in an exhibition entitled APPETIZING. There will be an artists' reception on Oct. 29 at 6 p.m. at the café; both the exhibition and the reception are free and open to all.

White's business partner Lee Behzadi, a builder and designer, purchased three historic building in downtown Pulaski and began transforming them into an entertainment complex. Pamela Keller, an art professor at Athens State University and organizer of the exhibition, said she came to know White while she was working on a commission from him.

The Athens State student artists, as well as White and Behzadi, will be available to meet and talk with attendees at the Oct. 29 reception.
