Old Courtland High School site of a great haunt

Happy Halloween from Bobby and friends! Happy Halloween from Bobby and friends!

Animatronics, actors and more abound at the "Haunted House of horror." Owner Keith Jones believes his haunt is one of the best. "We are fortunate enough to have a gymnasium. We can seat 800 people, so you don't have to stand in line and wait," he said.

He said they stagger the visits to 4 to 6 people at a time. "We want everybody that goes through it to have the same experience if you're in the front or if you're in the back. And a lot of our scenes are made for that size group."

While parents have the final say, Jones said his groups recommend ages 12 and over. And if someone in your group is "faint of heart," EMT's are right across the street. "We have 2 EMT's that work for us in the haunt," Jones added.

As our tour begins we think that's good - because it's an electrifying experience - and the last place you want to be fenced in, as we watch one poor soul being electrocuted.

Anxious for more? Just follow the blood, which will lead you to experimental labs, body parts... even the guillotine.

And there's always someone popping up around every corner. But beware the doctors. We watch Dr. Death shout that he has a great bedside manner (pause for maniacal laughter).

Somehow, we doubt it.

We accidentally ended up in a funeral parlor. All the mourners were actually zombies waiting for lunch.

A swirling tunnel is enough to make you dizzy.

And just as things start to be quiet, a clown is hanging from a noose. In fact if you have a clown phobia this might not be the place for you.

But it's a dark and stormy night. You can always visit the graveyard. Just don't disturb the locals.

The long corridors can be confusing if you pick the wrong way, but each will lead you straight into a world of fright in Bobby's Bama.
