WAFF 48's Liz Hurley was diagnosed with breast cancer in 1998, she
put a courageous face on breast cancer for all of us in the Tennessee Valley.
In 1999, the Liz Hurley Breast Cancer Fund at Huntsville Hospital Foundation
was established for the purpose of creating awareness, purchasing equipment, and providing
continuing education. Since its inception, more than $2.7 million has been
raised and thousands have been helped though this fund. This Saturday around
6500 Men and women will be running in the 10th annual Liz Hurley
Ribbon Run in Downtown Huntsville to show their support and raise money
