SELMA, AL (WSFA) -

Selma police say they busted two men trying to rob a business and the whole incident was caught on video.

Reporter Tametria Conner will have exclusive video of the dramatic take down on WSFA 12 News at 10.

Friday around noon, officers responded to a silent alarm at the Check 'n Go in the Walmart plaza. When officers arrived, they found two men dress in wigs, sunglasses, bandanas and several layers of clothing.

Police say the cashier activated the alarm when she saw the suspicious-looking suspects walk into the business. Nearby officers responded to the store before the suspects could take off with anything. Cops arrested Melvin Jerome Marshall, 21, and Courtney Smith, 19, in the parking lot.

Police say one of the men was armed with two semi-automatic handguns.

Officers ran the license plate number from the suspects' vehicle and discovered it had been stolen from a car parked at Walmart. Authorities say they switched their Montgomery County plate with the stolen Dallas County plate. Another police officer was already working on a report for the theft.

Both men are charged with one count of attempted robbery and one count of unlawful breaking and entering of a vehicle.
