Jordaan Creque found guilty of capital murder, sentencing to resume Monday

DECATUR, AL (WAFF) -

A jury found Jordaan Creque guilty on three counts of capital murder, Friday.

Creque and two other suspects were charged in connection with a 2011 double murder at a Krystal restaurant in Decatur.

Jesse Aguilar and Jeffrey Mark Graff were shot and killed at the Krystal restaurant on 6th avenue in August of 2011. 

Cassandra Eldred and Ezekiel Gholston were also charged in connection with the murders. Both Creque and Eldred were employed at the fast food restaurant at the time of the murders.

Creque now faces the death penalty or life in prison. Eldred and Gholston will be tried separately at a later date.

Sentencing for Creque began at 1 p.m. Friday. It will resume on Monday at 8:30 a.m.
