MONTGOMERY, AL (WSFA) -

With all but the provisional ballots counted by the Montgomery County Board of Elections, the unofficial election night totals are in for Jay Love's House District 74 seat.

Dimitri Polizos took 46 percent of the vote (1,901) while his opponents Charlotte Meadows took 32 percent (1,328) and Heather Sellers took 22 percent (910).

The provisional ballots in this special election will be counted on Friday, October 18.

Because Polizos did not pull a majority of the vote, he will face Charlotte Meadows in a runoff election. That election will be held on November 19.

Officials say of the 23,094 registered voters elligible to vote in the election, a total of 4,139 citizens came out to do so. That's a voter turnout of 17.9 percent.
