    To either keep or fire Carol Wicks as Director of Animal Services will be a decision made by the city council. If it comes to that, it would be put on a Decatur City Council meeting agenda for further review.So far, it is not on the agenda for their next meeting on Sep 2. Funeral arrangements are set for an Atlanta police officer who was killed in a car accident in Douglas County.

Ryan Adrian Baird, 38,  was killed in a single-car accident Monday night on Mann Road in Winston.

Baird's 2002 Jeep Grand Cherokee left the roadway in a curve and hit a tree. Baird was pronounced dead at the scene.
