CHATHAM CO., GA (WTOC) -

The Savannah Airport Commission announced JetBlue Airways will add service out of Savannah/Hilton Head International Airport to Boston Logan International Airport starting Feb. 13, 2014 with one daily non-stop flight.

A special introductory price as low as $89 one way for travel from Feb. 13-April 10 is available for booking.

Airport Executive Director Greg Kelly said in a statement, "We are very pleased that JetBlue has elected to add Boston service to and from Savannah. Of our top five market cities, Boston is the only one we do not have service to," he said. "This has been an objective of ours for some time. Our community and regional partners got behind this effort in a very meaningful way, which helped make this possible. This is a good day for our community and region."

The Boston flight is in addition to two daily nonstop flights to JFK, also scheduled to begin on Feb. 13, 2014.
