Bird handlers say they're using tracking devices made for dog collars to pinpoint the locations of two eagles that soar above the Jordan-Hare Stadium at Auburn University.

Tagg the Pet Tracker is a GPS device used mainly for dogs that allows pet owners to use their phones to find lost pets. This year, the company donated trackers to the Southeastern Raptor Rehabilitation Center, which handles the Auburn eagles.

Raptor specialist Andrew Hopkins told the Opelika-Auburn News (http://bit.ly/17cMAAS ) the devices, which weigh about an ounce, could bring handlers to within 10 feet of a lost bird if one were to ever fly out of the stadium.
