Trial continued for teacher's aide accused of sexual abuse

MADISON COUNTY, AL (WAFF) -

The trial for a former teacher's aide accused of sexually abusing a child was continued to January.

Michael Horton is charged with sodomy. Madison investigators said Horton abused a child younger than 13-years-old between July and December of 2008. Police arrested him in 2009.

Horton worked as a teacher's aide at Providence School in Huntsville. School officials said he was employed by Huntsville City Schools for about ten years.
