DECATUR, AL (WAFF) -

Testimony began Thursday in the Jordaan Creque trial.

Creque is one of three people charged with the murders of two Krystal employees, Jeff Graff and Jessie Aguilar. They were shot during a robbery in Aug. 2011.

The prosecution called several investigators to the stand to testify about the crime scene. Two former Krystal employees also testified, including the woman who found one of the bodies.

District Attorney Scott Anderson laid out the prosecution's case during opening statements. He said they will prove that Creque bought a 9mm pistol at a pawn shop about eight hours before the shooting, picking up co-defendant Ezekiel Gholston in Hartselle. They came back to Decatur, bought marijuana, then talked about robbing someone.

The DA said that around 3 a.m. on Aug. 24, with another co-defendant, Cassandra Eldred, they pulled up to the drive-through at the Krystal where Eldred and Creque worked, asked manager Graff to use the phone, and were let inside.

Investigators said the two then robbed the restaurant, and Creque shot and killed Graff and Aguilar.

Testimony resumes Friday.
