Sonic in Antioch robbed at gunpoint

NASHVILLE, TN (WSMV) -

Law enforcement has released images of the man they think robbed a Sonic in Antioch at gunpoint Thursday morning.

Metro police say a manager and employee were preparing to open the restaurant on  Murfreesboro Pike when a gunman walked up and shot out the front door around 5:30 a.m.

Police say the man demanded cash from the employees before taking off on foot.

The man was wearing a black hoodie, black shorts, a black ski mask and shoes with white soles. He was also wearing latex gloves. The suspect is described as a black male who is 5'10" and weighs 160 pounds.
