Colbert Co. man indicted on 2 counts of capital murder

TUSCUMBIA, AL (WAFF) -

A Colbert County grand jury handed down a two count indictment against a Cherokee man accused of killing his former wife.

Homajean "Lee" Grisham faces two capital murder charges for the death of Jessica Nicole Broadfoot. 

Investigators say he stabbed her to death while driving. The murder happened in June. An affidavit filed by a Colbert County Sheriff's Investigators states Grisham dumped Broadfoot's body in a wooded area off of Fossick Lane in Colbert County.

Deputies arrested Grisham after stopping his truck on 2nd Street in Muscle Shoals. Investigators report finding blood in the passenger compartment and bed of Grisham's truck.

Grisham is in the Colbert County Jail without bond. He will be arraigned November 13.
