Alabama Animal Alliance Spay/Neuter Clinic’s get your pet fixed for $10

Posted: Updated:

The Alabama Animal Alliance Spay/Neuter Clinic announces the return of SPAY MONTGOMERY, a program to assist Montgomery County residents with the spaying and neutering of their dogs and cats.  To be eligible for our SPAY MONTGOMERY program, individuals must either be Medicaid recipients with a current Medicaid card or a low-income resident.  Low income designation is determined with the use of HUD Guidelines.  Proof of income and Montgomery County residency is required. Montgomery County residency is verified with the use of driver's licenses or utility bills.  Qualified Montgomery County residents can get their pets spayed/neutered for only ten dollars.

This $10 fee covers the cost of the spay or neuter surgery, all pain management medications administered both during and after the surgery, and anesthesia.  The program will run as long as grant funds are available.  This program is only available for Montgomery County residents.

The Alabama Animal Alliance Spay/Neuter Clinic is Alabama's first high-quality, high volume, affordable spay/neuter clinic.  We are a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to reducing the number of unwanted animals by providing affordable spay/neuter surgeries for dogs and cats.  Since opening in October 2007, we have successfully altered more than 45,000 animals to proactively fight the area's dire pet overpopulation problem.  The Spay/Neuter Clinic's veterinarians are Drs. Rebecca Davidson and Cathrine Byars; licensed veterinarians with more than 40 years of combined experience.  For more information call 334-239-7387 or visit
